The Process

Over the past five years, I have immersed myself in the process of natural dyeing. Amazed at the beauty of colours available from nature with a bit of alchemy and patience. Each piece is individually created, coloured from nature, woven with thoughts, handled with care and unique in its moment.

My connection is the beauty of capturing a moment in time on fabric; a feeling, a smell, a sound, an intention... Therefore that moment of gathering the leaves or dye day is so poignant for me and the ability to pass that on to who ever will become the new owner. Hence each piece is accompanied with a poem describing its gathering or creation day. Through this I hope to inspire a personal connection for the new owner so that every time the piece is worn you are wrapping yourself in that thought which evolved from nature and is completely unique.
